Scale and content of construction: 100,000 tonnes of hydrogen production from electrolytic water; 200,000 tonnes of silicon ore smelting; 100,000 tonnes of core-grade polysilicon and 7,000 tonnes of graphene; 22,000 tonnes of composite silicon-carbon anode materials; 40,000 tonnes of monocrystalline rods and slices; 40GW of temperature difference power generation chips and 40GW of composite battery modules; 100,000 tonnes of basalt wire drawing.
Public information shows that Inner Mongolia Yaoyu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established on 20 September 2017, the registered office is located in Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Hohhot City, Saihan District, Inner Mongolia Hohhot City, Saihan District, Airport Expressway No. 128, the Inner Mongolia Low Carbon Economy Headquarters Building, third floor 3010 South Office Room, the legal representative of the Zhou Zhengping.

On 23 March 2022, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) issued the Medium- and Long-term Plan for the Development of Hydrogen Energy Industry (2021-2035), which clearly states that: Hydrogen energy is an important part of the future national energy system, hydrogen energy is an important carrier for the use of energy terminals to achieve a green and low-carbon transformation, and the hydrogen energy industry is a strategic emerging industry and a key direction of development for the future industry.
SINOPEC is currently the most active energy central enterprise in the layout of key technology research and development, promotion and application of hydrogen energy. Ma Yongsheng said that SINOPEC strives to build China's first hydrogen energy company by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 10 million tonnes per year. The company will continue to increase investment in green hydrogen energy business, and is laying out a number of green hydrogen refining demonstration projects.
